Trevor Goober is a comedian, musician and actor from Vancouver, Canada. He has performed on stages such as Just for Laughs Festival and The Second City, and has been featured on Funny or Die, SiriusXM and The Los Angeles Times. His work has been streamed on YouTube over 200 million times. Taking beats from his alt-humorist heroes, he writes and performs cheeky art-pop songs spawned from observations of life, art and whimsy. His "all ages" appeal has led him to rowdy comedy clubs, children's festivals, viral TikToks, songwriting for cartoons, as well as a starring role in an upcoming R-rated feature film. Yeah, he doesn't understand his career either.
As a radio personality for over 10 years, Trevor hosts a syndicated novelty show called The Goober Hour - which has led him to interviews with everyone from “Weird Al” Yankovic to The Wiggles, in addition to writing and starring in a pilot for a major television network. He is half of the acclaimed children's music duo The Zing Zangs, whose debut album The Good Day has been streamed 500,000 times in 170 different countries and is regularly featured on Spotify Kids. He also starred in several viral videos on the YouTube channel YAPTV, including the insanely popular Girl Without a Phone series. He is professionally trained in acting, writing, stand-up, improv, sketch, filmmaking, voice-over, dance, singing, music, and puppetry (big Muppets fan). He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Second City Training Centre, New York Film Academy, and Vancouver TheatreSports. When he's not slugging his way through third-person bios, Trevor spends his time as a full-time artist in Burbank, California - acting and writing music, hosting his radio show every Saturday, and drinking an almost worrisome amount of blackcurrant tea. He is happy. Current projects. |
